Akron Foundry, Inc. (AFI) is a family owned and operated company since 1964. AFI employs 50 non-union employees. We take pride in our service and quality. We produce a high quality machinable cast gray iron.

AFI produces castings from one piece to tens of thousands, a few ounces to 200 lbs. AFI produces castings for a broad selection of the industrial market, from utility industries to the hardware industry.

AFI recently updated its facilities to the latest in environmental friendly electric induction melting. AFI has also just completed a major automation project in its mold handling, sand preparation, casting shakeout, and molding areas. AFI also offers dip coated black paint services.
